Indeema Software and Vakoms held a charity auction

Indeema Software and Vakoms collaborated to host a charitable auction on September 8. The purpose of the event was to raise funds for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The auction successfully collected a significant sum of UAH 220,020, which was allocated for two important causes. Half of the proceeds will go toward acquiring a thermal imager for a Vakoms employee, while the other half will be used to outfit an unmanned aerial vehicle for the 216th battalion of the 125th separate territorial defense brigade of Ukraine.

The auction featured a variety of items for bidding, including handmade goods, homemade baked goods, assorted jewelry, a mountain hiking adventure, certificates, and military artifacts like a Swedish AT-4, a tube from an M-777 shell, and even an NLAW container. The highest-priced item was a bracelet crafted from the last pre-war batch of the renowned Azovstal, which sold for 53 thousand hryvnias. The participant who made the largest donation received a Ukrainian flag signed by members of the KRAKEN separate reconnaissance and sabotage unit, as well as a chevron from one of the International Legion battalions known as Vovkodav.

Volodymyr Shevchyk, CEO of Indeema Software, emphasized the significance of supporting the Ukrainian Armed Forces, especially during these trying times. He noted that the ongoing war can lead to reduced morale and effectiveness among both military personnel and civilians. Therefore, the event was organized to motivate people on the home front and raise funds for essential resources for those serving on the front lines.

It's worth mentioning that this isn't the first time the company has organized such a charitable event. Last year, they held a similar auction and successfully raised UAH 130,000.

These initiatives serve as a reminder that each individual can play a role in supporting the military and improving conditions for those defending the nation.
