June 22, 2023 Indeema Software is pleased to announce the successful holding of the IoT Challenge at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
The competition was organized with the support of Indeema, the Faculty of Electronics and Computer Technologies headed by Yuriy Furgala, and the Department of Radiophysics and Computer
Technologies, whose head Ivan Karbovnyk served as the chairman of the organizing committee. The IoT Challenge provided students with a unique opportunity to create their own Internet of Things (IoT) projects and receive a grant to support further innovative ideas.
The goal of the IoT Challenge is to encourage talented university students to unleash their potential and improve their professional level in the fields of electronics, programming, and IoT technology.
Indeema Software aims to inspire a new generation of technical specialists and programmers who will be able to develop and design promising IoT solutions for Ukraine and the world in the future.
The contestants had the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge, skills, and creative thinking by preparing projects using IoT technologies that solve real-world challenges and prove their professional skills. The task was to propose a solution to a specific problem, identify a technology stack for its implementation, and apply their theoretical knowledge in practice. Students of different courses took their first step towards becoming experienced IoT experts.
The competition was won by the project the RFID Keys. The idea was that teachers would be able to conveniently book classrooms through a Telegram bot. Each teacher has his or her own access key.
All participants received prizes from Indeema, and the winners received cash grants to support further innovative ideas. The first place received $200, the second place - $100, and the third - $50.
